Alan R. Brace, 79, of Warriors Mark, died Sunday, July 16,2006 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center.
He was born in Philadelphia on Sept. 19,1926 to the late Harold H. and Mabel Cameron Brace.
On June 18,1949 he married Beatrice Dixon who survives at home.
He served in WW II with the US Marines.
He was a teacher for the State College Area School District.
He enjoyed working with leather and woodworking.
In addition to his wife he is survived by a son, Richard Brace of Port Matilda; two daughters, Carol Brace of Warriors Mark and Joanne Weyers of Blacksburg, Va; and three grandchildren, Marie Brace of Warriors Mark, Sean Weyers of Richmond, VA, and Ryan Weyers of Blacksburg, VA.
Their will be no public viewing. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services PC, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801 with the Deacon Mike Ondik officiating. Burial will follow at the Centre County Memorial Park.
