Albert Andrew Musick, 79, of Bellefonte, died Monday, December 26,2005 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center.
He was born on February 20,1926 in Coburn to the late Elmer O. and Ruth Ida Shawver Musick.
He was married for 58 years to Ethel L. Martz who survives at home.
He attended East Penns Valley High School.
He served in WWII and the Korean Conflict in the US Navy and US Air Force.
He was employed at Cerro Metal Products as a deliveryman from 1949 until his retirement in 1989.
He was a member of the St. John's United Church of Christ in Bellefonte, the Bellefonte Moose Lodge # 206, Bellefonte VFW # 1600, Logan Grange # 409, Jackson-Crissman Saylor, Undine Fire Co. in Bellefonte, and the PA Bowling Hall of Fame. He also had worked the gates for 43 years selling tickets at the Grange Fair.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Sandra Coakley, Susan Witmer, Ruth Gerding, A. Todd Musick; eight grandchildren, Andy, Mike, and Pat Coakley, Robin Knight, Russell and Brian Witmer, Tabatha Bennett, Scott Jodon; fifteen great grandchildren, Abbie, Jimmy, Dustin, and Brandon Coakley, Heather, and Kelli Jo Lucas, Casey and Jessica Brobeck, Timothy, Stephen, Michael, Zach, and Annaliese Witmer, Kyle and Witney Bennett; a brother, Ralph Musick; two sisters, Pauline Wingard and Naomi Best; And all the other children that called him Pap.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Michael and Michelle Witmer and one great grandchild, Ty Witmer; two brothers, Randell and Glenn; and one sister, May.
A public viewing will be held from 6:00 to 9:00 PM Thursday, December 29,2005 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services PC, State College, PA 16801. The funeral will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, December 30,2005 at the funeral home with the Rev. Jack Archer officiating.
