Alice Irene Floray, 89, of Centre Hall, died Sunday, March 25, 2007, at the Fairways, Brookline Village.
She was born on December 23, 1917, in Smulton to the late Clyde E. and Maude P. Rishel Weber.
Following Maude's death on September 7, 1926, her father Clyde married Dorothy G. Bailey on November 3, 1933, who preceded her in death on January 28, 1975.
On March 7, 1936, Alice married Emory F. Floray who preceded her in death on April 28, 1987.
She attended Miles Township schools.
Mrs. Floray was a homemaker who enjoyed playing cards, cooking, baking, especially cinnamon rolls, and spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by three daughters, Shirley E. (Robert) Reed, Carole F. (Lynn) Smith, Donna R. (Gerald) Krebs, all of Centre Hall; two sons, C. Benjamin (Ruth Rudy) Floray of Centre Hall, Emory F. Floray Jr. (Clarissa Bierly) of Mechanicsburg; a step- sister Alda (Bernard) Dickman of Rebersburg; a half-brother Richard (Schryl Stickler) Weber of Pleasant Gap; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty three great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her brother Paul Weber of Bellefonte; a half-brother Edward Weber of Rebersburg; and a great- grandson Robert L. Reed, II of Arvada, Co.
A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services PC, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Centre Hall, PA 16828. Funeral services will be at 11 .a.m. on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, at the funeral home with Rev. S. Leigh Pick officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in Mountain Cemetery on Decker Valley Road, rural Spring Mills, PA
