Andrew "Buzz" Phillip Mast, III, Altoona, PA, passed away July 1, 2016 following a brief illness. Born December 16, 1943 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, he was the son of Andrew P. Mast, II and Helen (Gray) Mast. Andrew was a 1962 graduate of Ann Arbor High School, attended Eastern Michigan University, and graduated from Roosevelt University of Chicago, IL with a B.S. in Business Administration. He served in the U.S. Army with assignments in Germany and Vietnam and earned a Bronze Star. Andrew retired as an employee of the US Postal Service in 2004. He is survived by his son and daughter-in- law, Andrew IV and Theresa Mast, and
granddaughter, Ava Mast, of State College; sisters Jackie Veigel (Ann Arbor, MI) and Andrea Knopf (Pinckney, MI); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Carol Gray. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 2:00 PM, with funeral service following at 3:00 PM at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. Interment will be Monday, July 11 at 11:00 AM at Washtenong Memorial Park & Mausoleum in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
