M. Ann Hibbert Obituary
M. Ann Hibbert, 63, died Sunday, July 10, 2005 at Health South Nittany Valley Rehabilitation Hospital in Pleasant Gap.
Ann, a 22 year resident of State College, PA, was born on September 22, 1941 in Lewistown, PA and grew up in Ridley Park, PA. She was a daughter of the late Willard R. and Margaret (Kline) Calvert.
She married Robert L. Hibbert in 1968 who survives at home. Prior to coming to State College they lived in Millersville, MD until 1983.
She was the mother of two sons; Robert Jr. of State College and James D. of 29 Palms, CA. In addition to her husband and two sons, she is survived by a sister Susan Funk of Chambersburg, PA, and two brothers, Joseph Calvert of Jacksonville, FL and Willard Calvert of Youngsville, North Carolina.
Mrs. Hibbert graduated from high school in Ridley Park, and from the Goldie Beacon Business School in Philadelphia.
She was a secretary in various churches in Maryland and Pennsylvania, and worked as a secretary at Penn State University in the College of Education, ARL, and the College of Engineering.
She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, State College, and a former member of Park Forest Village United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the State College Woman's Welcome Club and several card clubs. She enjoyed traveling and knitting.
Mrs. Hibbert described her life and worldview with two phrases; A good life! and Go with God!
Friends will be received at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services P. C., formerly the Kyper Funeral Home, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p. m. Wednesday, July 13, 2005. The funeral will be at the funeral home on Thursday, July 14, 2005 at 11:00 a. m., with the Rev. Thomas Jacobs officiating. Entombment will be in the Garden Mausoleum at Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA
