Anna "Dolly" E. Long, 83, who resided with her daughter Charlene at Centre Hall, died Thursday, December 24, 2015.

She was born May 7, 1932 in rural Spring Mills, a daughter of the late Edward and Mabel Gentzel Immel.

She was married to Clarence Long in 1949; who preceded her in death, Feb. 21, 2001.

Mrs. Long spent most of her life in the food service industry serving as a cook and waitress.

She attended Green Grove Brethren in Christ Church. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving Dolly are four daughters, Patricia Valentine (Charles) of Aaronsburg, Wanda Heckbert (Jim) of San Diego, CA; Charlene Long of Centre Hall, and Darlene Foust (Kenneth) of Spring Mills; and four sons, Rusty Long (Mary) of Millheim, Harold Long (Vicky) of Spring Mills, Kenneth of San Diego, CA and Roger Long (Deb) of Clarence; two sisters, Mae "Reannie" Rider (Dave) of Spring Mills and Doris Rittenhouse of Spring Mills; 17 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Friends will be received from noon until 2 pm Monday December 28, 2015 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Centre Hall, PA. The funeral service will follow immediately at 2:00 p. m. with the Reverend Michael Covalt officiating. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Fairview Cemetery Millheim.
