Anna Mae (Colbert) Smoyer, 89, of Bellefonte, PA passed away September 2, 2022. Born October 15, 1932 in Bellefonte, PA to the late Dean and Grace (Walls) Colbert, she was a 1950 graduate of Bellefonte High School. In August 1952 she married Elwood Smoyer and in 1954 they had a daughter, Kathy.

Anna enjoyed family time, cooking holiday meals and camping. She worked in the dietary department and as an anesthesiologist assistant for Centre Community Hospital - now Mt. Nittany Medical Center - for 36 years until her retirement. She was also a faithful member of Brookside Wesleyan Church.

Along with her parents Anna was predeceased by 4 brothers, Dean Colbert, Jr., Tom Colbert, Richard Colbert and Ronald Colbert and 1 sister, Darlene Strouse. She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Reeder of Bellefonte, PA; 2 granddaughters, Kelly Pasquini and husband Fred of Flinton, PA and Amanda Roush and husband Daniel of Bellefonte, PA; 3 great-grandchildren, Justin Reeder and partner Brandon of Whitney, TX, Tommy Bumbarger of Bellefonte, PA and Chloe Roush of Bellefonte, PA and 1 step-great-grandchild, Freddy Pasquini, IV of Altoona, PA.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 8, 2022 9:00AM - 10:00AM with funeral service to follow at 10:00AM at the Haky/Georgiana Centre County Funeral Home 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. Interment will take place at Centre County Memorial Park.
