Obituary
Anson Clark Burwell Jr. 97, of State College, died March 8, 2017, at Juniper Village at State College.
Surviving are his wife Marie, his daughter Sandra of Indiana, PA, his son, Anson III and daughter in law, Janet of State College; and his grandson Matthew of Cambridge, MA.
Upon graduation from the Pennsylvania State University, Anson was hired as a junior engineer at Sylvania; by the time he retired, he was supervisor of product engineering.
Anson was active in the Presbyterian Church and a member of numerous community organizations. He was one of the founders of the Emporium Country Club, and enjoyed golf, travel, classical music and his family
A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date, interment will be in Centre County Memorial Park State College, PA
