Anthony "T" W. Minielli, 89, of State College, died Thursday, November 23, 2006 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center.
He was born on October 22, 1917 in Altoona to the late Donato and Angelina Intonti Minielli.
On July 27, 1945 he married Elizabeth A. Duffy who preceded him in death on April 3, 1985.
He retired from the US Postal Service in July of 1972 in the security department.
Wounded in France, he was a decorated combat veteran serving in the US Army during WW II.
He was very active in high athletics. He had major interest in golf and pool.
He is survived by a daughter, Linda (Lucy)Beman and her husband Roy of Lemont; six grandchildren, James A. and Christine M. Meintel, Jennifer Hutchison, Douglas, Monica, and Heidi Beman; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two brother's Joseph and John Minielli; a sister Helen Minielli; and a nephew Danny Minielli.
Receiving of friends will be from 12 noon to 1:00 pm with a funeral service to follow at 1:00 on Monday, November 27, 2006 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services PC, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801.
