Antonia "Toni" Mitchell, 99, of State College died Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Juniper Village at Brookline.

Born January 3, 1919 in Derry Township, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Anna (Bogie) Plivich.

On December 28, 1954, in State College, she married David R. Mitchell, Jr. who preceded her in death on August 13, 2011.

She was a graduate of the University High School in Morgantown, West Virginia and attended Penn State and Duquesne Universities.  Mrs. Mitchell retired as a beauty consultant for Helena Rubinstein Cosmetics and was a considered by some as a flower garden expert.

Antonia is survived by her sister-in-law, Patricia Sawchuk and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by all her brothers and sisters, she was the last of her generation.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, with the Rev. David Sawchuk officiating. Inurnment will follow in Centre County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Antonia's name may be made to Grane Hospice, 115 Union Avenue, Altoona, PA 16602.
