Ardell D. Walker, 87, of Moshannon, died Sunday, February 25, 2007 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center.
He was born in Moshannon on Nov. 9, 1919 to the late George K. and Nancy A. Philips Walker.
On Dec. 29, 1945 he married Mildred Moore who preceded him in death on Nov. 17, 2001.
He served in the US Army during WW II.
He was a member of the Bellefonte VFW.
He worked for the J H France Brick Co.
He is survived by two sons, Delbert A. Walker of Moshannon, Robert A. Walker of Pennsfield and his fiancee Beckey; five grandchildren, Myranda Walker of Bellefonte, Tara, Cheyenne, Seth and Autumn all of Pennsfield; and three sisters, Kay Hall of Bellefonte, Jenney McCloskey of Milesburg, and Thelma Heckman of Zion.
In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a son Thomas L. Walker and three brothers Leslie, Kenney, and Melvin.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
