Arthur Leroy Beard, 39, of rural Centre Hall, PA; died Monday, April 18, 2005 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College.
He was born March 13, 1966 in Bellefonte, a son of the late Charles Martin and Cherry Ann Addleman Beard.
Mr. Beard was self employed as a painter working in housing construction.
He is survived by his companion of twenty one years, Wendy Taylor of rural Centre Hall; two children, Linda and Michael Beard of Rural Centre Hall, two sisters, Anna Beard of Burke, VA and Cheryl Beard of Bellefonte; three brothers, Charles M. Beard of Rural Centre Hall, Thomas Beard of Sweden, and Jeffery Joseph Beard of Spring Mills.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Nancy Beard.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 30, 2005 at 11:00 a. m. at Sprucetown United Methodist Church, Upper Georges Valley Road, off Route 144, just North of Potters Mills. The family will receive friends immediately following the memorial service at the church. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
