On Friday, March 22, 2024, Barbara Kay Crater gained her wings. She is survived by her husband, Carl E. Crater; her son, Brian C. Crater and his wife Sue and their six children; her son, Lemuel N. Crater and his wife Andrea and their four children and a grandson, William E. Crater. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren; her mother-in-law, Mary Crater; her brother-in-law, Elwood Crater and his wife Rose; her brother-in-law, Robert Crater; her sister, Susan Grahm and various nieces and nephews.

Barbara was preceded in death by her father and mother, Lemuel and Helen (Dimmic) Snyder; her father-in-law, Eugene D. Crater; her son, Carl E. Crater, Jr.; her sister, Betty Pace and one granddaughter.
