Barbara U. Koon's Obituary
Barbara Jean (Ulmer) Koon, died January 31, 2012.
Born on September 23, 1923, in Salladasburg, PA, she was a daughter of the late Floyd M. and Anna Fulton Ulmer.
She was married to Dale E. Koon, who preceded her in death.
Barbara is survived by two sons, Stephen M. "Mike" Koon of Bellefonte and Jon V. Koon of Reading; two sisters, Marge Dionisio of State College and Mary Yontzy of Williston, FL; two brothers, Kaye Ulmer of Williston, FL and Thomas R. Ulmer of Summerfield, FL; three grandchildren, Karry Carr of Bellefonte, David Koon of Lewistown and Stephanie Reese of Milroy; and nine great grandchildren.
Barbara worked at various offices at Penn State before going to work at HRB-Singer where she retired after 20 years of service.
All services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the SPAC, 2451 General Potters Highway, Centre Hall, PA 16828
