Barbara Jo Weber, 45, of Bellefonte, left us to be with God on Thursday, December 8,2005, after a twenty-five year courageous battle with MS.
She is survived by her husband, Karl R. Weber, of Bellefonte. She is also survived by her mother, Mae Britton, of Bradenton, FL; her sister, Adele McCormick and her husband Terry, of Princeton,NJ; her aunt and uncle, Robert and JoMarie Dresel, of Greenwich,CT; and her cousin, Suzy Simpson, of Greenwich,CT. Barbara was preceded in death by her loving father, Howard L. Britton. Surviving also is her "In Law" family who thought of her as a daughter and sister; Parent in laws John and Rachael Weber III, of Houserville; brothers in law John Weber IV and wife Sharon, of Eugene,OR; Dave Weber and wife Donna, of Waynesboro; sisters in law Cindy Lehr and husband Bruce, of Penna Furnace; and Rachael Weber and husband Steve, of Pittsburgh. Although having no children of her own, she was a wonderful loving aunt to eleven nieces and nephews.
Born in York,PA, she was a 1978 graduate of York Suburban High School. She received her degree in Interior Design from the International Institute of Interior Design, Washington, DC in 1982.
Barbara loved spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed reading, especially her bible, her victorian home in Bellefonte, and her beagle Orvis.
Barbara's faith and love of God was most important to her. It served as true inspiration to her family, church and friends. Words can not express how deeply she touched those who knew her and how much she will be missed. We rejoice in the knowledge that she is now in heaven dancing again with her father.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 17,2005 at the Shiloh Lutheran Church, 801 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801. Burial will be at the Centre County Memorial Park.
