Bethel Miller Wilson, 85, of Port Matilda, formerly of Bellefonte, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at Hearthside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in State College.
Born April 5, 1924, in Houston Township, a daughter of the late Frank J. and Esther R. Lannen Miller.
On January 10, 1976, she married Frank F. Wilson, who preceded her in death in 1991.
Beth was a member of the Church of God in Port Matilda. She especially enjoyed camping, boating, and fishing
She is survived by three sons; Frank F. Wilson, Jr., of Hanover, PA, Russell D. Wilson of Morrisdale, PA and Wayne E. Wilson of Harker Heights, TX; a daughter Tina M. Bernier of Middleboro, MA; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. She is also survived by a niece Mary McClintock of Paradise, CA and a nephew John Miller of Spanish Fork,Utah.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her four children; Paul, Melvin, Joyce and Donna Stanton, three brothers; William, Jack and Franklin Miller, a grandson Joshua D. Wilson and a foster brother Chester Bunns.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 17, 2009 from 4:00 PM until time of service at 6:00 PM at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA with the Pastor Rodger Traxler, Sr., officiating. Burial will be Monday, May 18, 2009 at 10:30 AM in Centre County Memorial Park.
