Obituary

Betty Frances Grenoble, 85, of Pine Grove Mills, went home to be with her Lord, on Friday, June 11, 2010, at her home.
She was born December 15, 1924, at Aaronsburg; a daughter of the late Sumner and Mae M. Wingard Musser.
On March 4, 1946, she married Elmer E. Grenoble who preceded her in death on March 10, 1982.
Betty graduated from East Penns Valley High School in 1943. She was a faithful member of Penns Valley God's Missionary Church, Spring Mills. During World War II, she worked for the Sylvania Company and later worked as a cafeteria aide for 17 years, in the Ferguson Township School. She especially enjoyed gardening and sharing her produce with others, and enjoyed raising all kinds of flowers.
Surviving Mrs. Grenoble are four daughters, Jeanne M. Auman (Richard E.), of Spring Mills, Betty J. Hayward, of Mareno Valley, CA, Bonnie M. Summers (Daniel) of Hollidaysburg, and Ruth Snyder (Larry) of Lemont; one son Dickson E. Grenoble (Jackie) of Pine Grove Mills; ten grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; two sisters in law Beulah Houser of Lemont, and Sara Musser of Smiths, AL and one brother in law Daniel Houser of Huntingdon
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Kessinger and Ethel Auman; and two brothers Sumner C. Musser Jr. and Lester R. Musser.
Friends will be received from 5 - 8 p. m. Monday, June14, 2010, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA; and from 10:00 to 11:00 a. m. Tuesday, June 15, 2010, at the Penns Valley God's Missionary Church along Route 45, 109 Evergreen Lane, Spring Mills, PA. The funeral will follow at the church with the Reverend Gabriel Morley and the Reverend Paul Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Millheim.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Penns Valley God's Missionary Church, 109 Evergreen Lane, Spring Mills, PA 16875; or to Centre County Home Nursing Agency and Hospice.
