Betty E. Cox, 74, of Bellefonte, died Sunday, June 1, 2014 at Mount Nittany Medical Center at State College.
She was born March 8, 1940 near Howard, a daughter of the late Harry and Hazel Butler Haines.
Betty retired from State College Ford as a shuttle driver. She especially enjoyed fishing and camping, and was a member of Three Point Sportsman's Club at Clarence.
Surviving Betty are two sons, Terry M. Cox of Philipsburg and Roger D. Cox of Bellefonte; three grandchildren Jennifer, Shawn, and Alesha; seven great grandchildren; and a special friend Doris Crock of Bellefonte.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Erma and Martha.
Friends will be received from 6 -8 p. m. Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service P. C. 1034 Benner Pike, State College. Other services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
