Beverly A. Blood, 82, of State College, died Sunday, August 25, 2019 at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

Born January 31, 1937 in Johnsonburg, PA she was a daughter of the late Charles G. and June V. (Nelson) Frank.

On October 19, 1985 in State College she married Joseph A. Blood, who preceded her in death on January 26, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her former husband, Emerson G. Zimmerman on November 5, 2009 and a stepson William K. Blood.

Beverly was a graduate of Johnsonburg High School.  She worked at several doctor's offices in State College.  She was a secretary for Levy Blumenthal Piper retiring in 1988.

She was a member of the Park Forest Baptist Church and attended the Milesburg Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Charla J. Zimmerman Polk and Corinne M. Zimmerman-Blood; one son, Dayne A. Zimmerman; two stepdaughters, Mary M. Graves and Laurie Blood; three stepsons, Joseph A. Jr., Randy A. and Anthony Blood; one brother, Richard E. Frank; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from noon-1:00 PM, Friday, August 30, 2019 at the Park Forest Baptist Church, 3030 Carnegie Drive, State College, PA  16803. The funeral service will follow at 1 PM in the church with the Reverend Jeremy Field officiating. Entombment will be at Centre County Memorial Park.
