Beverly E. Kiehl, age 91, of State College, PA died on November 11, 2025 at the Village at Penn State. Born September 28, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Ashbel C. Smith and Virginia Johnston Smith. On December 28, 1956, she married her Penn State college sweetheart, Kent R. Kiehl who predeceased her in 2015.

Beverly was a former teacher and worked in retail.

She is survived by daughter Dr. Kimberlee L. Kiehl of Lewis Center, Ohio; daughter and son-in-law Shari and Mike Koval of Beaver Dams, NY; two grandchildren Atreyu Wolff and Karlyn Kagy (Reid); three great granddaughters Kayla Kiehl, Kennedy and Raegan Kagy and one great grandson Xander Kagy, two nieces and their families.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Saint Peters UCC, 1795 W. College Avenue, State College, PA 16801 on December 28, 2025 – what would have been their 69th wedding anniversary. The family will be receiving guests at 1:30 PM – service at 2:00 PM with a Fellowship Time to follow. Beverly will join Kent in Arlington National Cemetery.
