Beverly J. Long went to be with her Lord and Savior on May 24, 2023 with family by her side at Mount Nittany Medical Center at the age of 92.

Beverly (Bev) was born on January 20, 1931 in Jersey Shore, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of the late Victor L. Harter and Millie A. Myers Harter. Beverly was a graduate of Jersey Shore High School class of 1949.

Beverly (also lovingly known as "Nana") is survived by her children Robert Long, Ray (Terri) Long and Jeanne (Matt) Lengyel. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Coleen (Justin) Covington and their daughters Lilianna and Anika, Jordan (Allyce) Boone and their sons Jax and Hayes, Bryan Long and son Vincent, Brandon Lengyel and Derek Lengyel. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law Susi Garner Gibson. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Ronny Harter and her daughter Jacci Boone.

Her greatest joys in life were spending time with family and friends reminiscing, laughing and playing games. Over the years she was involved in various organizations such as Salvation Army, Ladies Auxiliary to the Boalsburg Fire Company, and C&MA Prime Timers and Christian Women's Club to name a few. When her children were young she helped with pre-school, cub scouts as a den mother and taught sewing to some of the neighborhood girls. Later after her children were grown she helped with the after care program at the C&MA school.

Bev's strong lifelong faith in God carried her throughout life. She was a long time member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church and also attended their Bible Study Group.

A private graveside service was held for the immediate family on June 2, 2023 at Jersey Shore Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 5, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, 1221 W. Whitehall Road, State College, PA.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ladies Auxiliary to the Boalsburg Fire Company, Inc, PO Box 540, Boalsburg, PA 16827 or to the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church 1221 W. Whitehall Rd, State College, PA.
