Blanche E. Hartswick, 94, of State College died December 2, 2018.

She was born September 21, 1924, a daughter of Mary and William Wavrin of Owatonna, MN.

On December 19, 1947, she married Thomas N. Hartswick who preceded her in death.

She was a graduate of Owatonna High School in 1942 and attended the University of Minnesota.

Blanche was a member of the Faith United Church of Christ in State College.

She is survived by three children, Thomas C. Hartswick of South Park, PA, Dona Lynch of Trumansburg, NY, and Carol Samuels of Friendship, ME, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive and a sister, Helen Heaton of St. Paul, MN.

At Blanche's request there will be no memorial service.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Blanche's name may be made to a charity of one's choice.
