Brenda Kay Burd Wilt 57, of rural Spring Mills, died Friday, January 13, 2017 at her home.

She was born June 15, 1959 the adopted daughter of Betty Burd of Centre Hall and the late Nevin Burd

Brenda was a 1978 Graduate of Penns Valley Area High School.

On March 28, 1981 she married Dale "Buster" E. Wilt Jr. who survives at home.

Brenda was employed by Teledyne Paradise Datacom in State College as an electronics assembly person for thirty five years.

Her memberships included Trinity United Church of Christ in Centre Hall, and the Auxiliary of American Legion Post 779 at Centre Hall.

She enjoyed attending Grange Fair, watching football, and loved her cat "Smokey".

In addition to her mother and husband she is survived by two sons Nevin Wilt of Centre Hall, and Joshua Wilt of Millheim, one brother Charles E. Hook (Elizabeth) of Liverpool; two aunts, Nancy Woock of Niagara Falls, NY and Irene Fohringer of Spring Mills; her mother in law Erma Wilt of rural Spring Mills; two sisters in law Cindy Stevens (Terry) of Boalsburg and Sandy Gill of Julian, and a brother in law, Dennis Wilt of Spring Mills.

Friends will be received from 6 - 8 pm Friday, January 20, 2017 at Trinity United Church of Christ, 104 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA.

The funeral will be at 10:00 a. m Saturday January 21, 2017 at the church with the Reverend David Downer officiating. Burial will be in the reformed and Lutheran Cemetery, W. Church St. Centre Hall.
