Obituary

Bud W. Royer, 86, of Back Maitland Road, McClure, passed away on Monday, August 16, 2010 at the Locust Grove Retirement Village in Mifflin.
Born on March 5, 1924 in Newton Hamilton, he was a son of the late John W. Royer and Margaret Bowersox.
He was married to the former Mildred M. McManigle, who survives at home.
Bud was employed and retired as a warehouse laborer at Arrow Shirt Company.
He enjoyed gardening and being outdoors.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Jan L. Wagner of Lewistown; two brothers, Daniel and Dick Royer, both of Lewistown; five sisters, Rose Brannon, Marie Miller, Dorothy Stong, Doris Osborne, and Linda Davis, all of Lewistown; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Brannon; and three brothers, John, Weldon, and Jack Royer.
All Services and Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Bud's memory to a charity or church of one's choice.
The Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Centre Hall, has care of the arrangements.
