Obituary

Carl Leroy Fohringer, 53, of Tusseyville, died Tuesday, March 27, 2007, at Mt. Nittany Medical Center at State College.
He was born April 18, 1953, a son of the late Ruth F. Heisey Forhinger and Charles L. Fohringer who survives at Tusseyville.
In addition to his father, he is survived by three daughters, Kelli J. Simco (Darren) and Charlie and Christa Fohringer, all of Spring Mills; a step daughter Audra Ticknor (Ronnie) of Spring Mills; a step son Kenneth Cooper (Devonnie) of Pleasant Gap; eight grandchildren; three sisters, Anna Ruth Smoyer (Charles) of Boalsburg, F. Eunice Paraiso (Cesar) of Lilburn, GA, Dorcas Summers (Nathan) of Centre Hall; a brother Kenneth Fohringer (Deb) of Filmore; nine nieces and nephews, and six great nieces and nephews.
Carl was well known for his produce stand on Route 322 near Tusseyville, and enjoyed meeting the people who purchased produce there.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p. m. Tuesday, April 10, 2007, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 301 N. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA, with the Rev. Darrell Smucker officiating. Friends will be received immediately following the services in the fellowship hall of the church.
