Carl A. Lingle, 77, of Linden Hall, died on March 24, 2009 at Mount Nittany Medical Center.
He was born August 11, 1931, the son of Calvin Lingle and Mary (Neval) Lingle.

Carl was preceded in death by one sister, Hazel, and one brother, Guy Lingle.
Carl or "Doc" was a long respected member of the farming community throughout Central Pennsylvania. He was a lifelong farmer. "Doc" was quick to laugh and first to help his neighbors wherever a need arose.
Carl was a lifetime member of the Elks and a past member of the Harris Township Fish and Game Association. He was a Methodist.
It was Carl's wish to have no public visitation, and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
