Caroline W. Gingher, 83, died peacefully on May 30, 2026 in State College, PA. She was born on February 11, 1943, the daughter of the late Mitchell D. Baney and Mary Elizabeth Corage. Her brother, Ronald, also is deceased. On February 14, 1964, Caroline married the love of her life, Joseph Allen Gingher in Bellefonte. He died in 1996. 

Caroline is survived by her son Douglas Allen Gingher (Melinda) and a daughter, Christine Gingher-Bair (Thomas). 

She was the proud Grandmother of Michael and Steven and a much-loved Great Grandmother to Savannah, Bennett, Banks, Luca and another on the way. 

Caroline had a “green thumb” for planting beautiful flowers, cooking scrumptious meals, quilting and shopping! She will be remembered most for spending quality time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. 

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
