Carolyn E. Newman, 83, of Milesburg, died Tuesday, August 9,2005 at Centre Crest Nursing Home.
Born April 30,1922 in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late George and Anna Sager Confer.
On June 28,1941 she married Charles T. Newman who preceded her in death on February 2,1990.
She attended Bellefonte High School.
She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and spending time with family and friends.
She was of protestant faith.
She is survived by three children, George and his wife Twila, Thomas and his wife Beth, Diane and her husband Robert Dyke, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, three sisters, Sara Breon and Patricia Evock both of Bellefonte, and June Bartley of Howard.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 14,2005 at 2:00 pm at the Baptist Church in Milesburg, 110 Market St., Milesburg, PA, 16853.
