Carrie Elizabeth Snyder Loner, 79, of Lemont, died Friday, March 12, 2004, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident on state Route 45, in Potter Township.
She was born January 1, 1925 in Bellefone, a daughter of the late Ralph and Edna Snook Snyder.
She was married to George Loner who preceded her in death.
She was employed in Food Services at Penn State University for 32 1/2 years, retiring in 1995.
Mrs. Loner enjoyed playing Bingo.
She is survived by one daughter, Joan Cox and her husband Dan of Centre Hall; three sons, Thomas Loner and his wife Sharie of Coburn, Jack Loner of Cresson and Richard Loner of Lemont; one sister, Judy Hoy of McVeytown; three brothers, Walter Snyder of Scotia, Blair and Butch Snyder both of Bellefonte; 13 grandchildren, and 15 great grand children.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son G. Harold Loner and a brother Jim Snyder.
Friends will be received from 6 - 8 p. m. Monday, March 15, 2004 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Centre Hall, PA. The funeral will be at 10:00 a. m. Tuesday, March 16, 2004 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Hoskins, officiating.
Burial will be in Gray's Cemetery, Route 550 near Stormstown.
