Carrie Evelyn Spicer, 100 of State College, passed away September 9, 2022. She was born on August 3, 1922 to the late Milton and Emma (Breon) Barger. She married Lloyd W. Spicer; their union was blessed with 4 children. She was employed with the Pennsylvania State University until her retirement.

Carrie enjoyed cooking, and keeping a welcoming home. She loved tending to her garden and spending time with family. She also attended the State College Assembly of God and Milesburg Assembly.

Along with her parents Carrie was predeceased by her husband, Lloyd W. Spicer and a daughter-in-law, Gladys. She is survived by her children, James Spicer and his wife Nancy, Janet Robison, David Spicer and Nancy Rudy and her husband David; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

Graveside service will be held Monday, September 12 at 11:00AM at the Centre County Memorial Park 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA 16801 with interment to immediately follow. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Carrie's honor to the State College Assembly of God.
