She was married to John Orvis Wolfe who preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 2002.
Carrie attended Carrie Alice Wolfe, 87, of Bellefonte, formerly of State College, died Friday, March 18, 2005, at Centre Crest in Bellefonte.
She was born on July 21, 1917 at Port Matilda, PA, a daughter of the late Miles Wesley and Emma Mae Bailey Woods. Port Matilda High School through 11th grade..
Mrs. Wolfe worked for the State College School District, retiring after 12 years of service.
Early in life she attended the United Methodist Church. She especially enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking and Puzzles
Mrs. Wolfe is survived by one daughter, Irene Joyce Wolfe-McAbee of Duluth, GA; two sons, John R. Wolfe of Boalsburg and Duane L. Wolfe of Bellefonte; one sister Frances Hoover of Port Matilda; seven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by brothers, George, Fred, Howard, Willis, Rob and Leroy
Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p. m. Monday, March 21, 2004 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Service, 226 S. Pennsylvannia Ave., Centre Hall, PA. The funeral will be at 2:00 p. m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. Pamela Ford officiating. Burial will be in Grays Cemetery, Stormstown, PA
