Catherine Lyons Brownlee's Obituary
Catherine Lyons Brownlee, 77, of State College, died Sunday, March 7, 2010 at Hearthside Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Centre in State College.
Catherine was born Feb. 16, 1933 in Williamsport, a daughter of Josephine Huther.
Mrs. Brownlee graduated from Williamsport School of Nursing, earning her Registered Nursing Certificate.
During her career, Catherine worked for Dr. Walter Schuyler, Drs. John B. Fisher, David B. Werner and Jeffrey B. Heimer at Centre Optical Services, and for Drs. Carlin and Moon and at the Radio Park Elementary School.
Surviving are her daughter, Lisa M. Brownlee of State College, and a son Robert S. Brownlee of Nanticoke, and her friend and former husband Robert Brownlee.
Following her wishes there will be no public memorial services. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Schlow Centre Region Library, 211 S. Allen St. State College, Pa 16801.
