Celsa "Gram" Berniece Jodon Lilyquist, 92, formerly of Bellefonte and more recently of Moshannon Heights, Philipsburg, died Friday, June 10, 2005 at the Hearthside Nursing Center in State College.
She was born January 12, 1913 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Charles H. and Carrie Olive Stanley Jodon.
On Oct. 13, 1944 she married William "Bill" Gustas Lilyquist Sr. who preceded her in death Dec. 23, 1998. Celsa attended Milesburg schools. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in State College. She was a member of the Bellefonte Council of Republican Women, and worked for the Salvation Army in Ridgeway for several years.
She especially enjoyed crafts, crocheting and doing word search puzzles and was able to continue those things right up until the time of her death.
Two daughters, Delores Jean Garbrick of Zephyrhills, FL and Patricia Ann Lose and her husband Albert (Mick) of Bellefonte, one son William Carl Lilyquist, Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Bellefonte; three grandchildren Michelle Davidson and her husband Jeff, and Robert and Heather Lose, one great grandson Hunter R. A. Davidson; and numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren survive her. She was the last of her generation and was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received from 6 - 7:30 p. m. Monday, June 13, 2005 at the former Eloise B. Kyper Funeral Home, Inc. now the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service P. C. 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. The funeral will follow at 7:30 p. m. with Pastor Donald Ehrilich officiating. Burial will be at Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA.
