Charles E. Gale Jr.(Chuck), 47, of State College, went home to be with his Lord, Friday, October 10, 2008, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born April 16, 1961, a son of Miriam Klausen Gale who survives in Bethlehem, and the late Charles E. Gale Sr.
On June 19, 1982, he married Ann F. Kradel, who survives at home.
In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by a daughter Mary Faith Gale, and a son Chuck D. Gale both of State College; two sisters Marj Voight of Easton, and Lisa Hazler of Walnutport; two brothers, Paul Gale of Bethlehem and Timothy Gale of State College.
Chuck graduated from Freedom High School in Bethlehem and from Bethlehem Vocational School, where he graduated at the top of his class in cabinet making. He worked as a machinist most of his life.
He was a member of Park Forest Baptist Church where he served as a deacon, soundboard operator, and assisted in various maintenance duties, at the church. In addition to spending a significant amount of his spare time in church activities, he thoroughly enjoyed woodworking.
A memorial service will be held at Park Forest Baptist Church, 3030 Carnegie Drive, State College, at 11:00 on Friday, October 17, 2008, with the Reverend Dr. James Nolten officiating.
