Charles E. "Chuck" Porter, Jr., 79, of Pleasant Gap, PA, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2025. He was born August 31, 1945 in Bellefonte, PA to the late Charles, Sr. and Ernestine (Spencer) Porter. On July 21, 2000 he married Sue McKinley.

Chuck worked as a heavy equipment operator and enjoyed spending time with family. He was a member of Pleasant Gap United Methodist Church as well as the Masons, the Tall Cedars, the Shriners and the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks.

Along with his parents Chuck was preceded in death by one stepson, Michael Allison. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Sue Porter; five children, Billi Jo Porter, Jennifer Prowse and her husband Ed, Joseph Allison, Sherry Kizina and her husband Brad and James Porter; one sister, Joyce Koch and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nephews.

Per the family's request services are private. Interment will take place at Centre County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Chuck's honor to the Shriners Hospitals for Children.
