Clara B. Courchesne, 85, of Duncansville, PA, died Thursday, August 30, 2007, at Altoona Hospital, in Altoona.
She was born December 3, 1921 in Altoona, a daughter of the late Joseph and Northburga Stangle Loeb.
On March 3, 1944, she married Joseph L. Courchesne who survives at home.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters and their husbands, Darlene Crichton, Alice Giles, Mary Ann Callan and Sharon Calkins; eleven grandchildren, twenty two great grandchildren and one sister Hilda Neal.
Mrs. Courchesne was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Altoona.
Friends will be received from 10:30 a. m. to 11:00 a. m. Saturday, September 1, 2007, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 5514 Roselawn Ave., Altoona, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a. m. at the church, with The Reverend James Crookston and The Very Reverend Carl Spishak as celebrants.
Entombment will be private at the convenience of the family at Alto Reste Cemetery in Altoona.
