Claude R. McClintic, Jr. 71, of State College, died Monday, October 5, 2015 at Hearthside Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center in State College.
He was born November 4, 1943 in Linden Hall, a son of the late Claude L. McClintic Sr. and Rose Hook McClintic
Early in life he worked as a painter at various construction sites.
Surviving Mr. McClintic are one daughter, Scotti, one close friend who he referred to as his adopted daughter, Diana Armstrong (Joseph) and with whom he lived for the past ten years; and his sister Kathryn Kunkel of Lewistown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister Betty Moore, and three brothers Harold, Elwood, and Glenn.
Contributions in his memory may be made to Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave., P. O. Box 443, Centre Hall, PA 16828 to assist his family with funeral expenses.
All services will be private at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery, West Church St. Centre Hall.
