Darlene (Dolly) Price Breon of Port Matilda, PA was born October 6, 1950 and entered into Glory on November 22, 2024. Darlene passed away peacefully at her home. She was a daughter of the late Sterl and Betty Price of Port Matilda, Pa. In April of 1976 she married Charlie Breon who preceded her in death.

Darlene is survived by two stepchildren, Dawn Knauer and Scott Breon. She also has 5 step-grandchildren, Chelsey, Kylie, Kason, Katie and Maya. Darlene is also survived by her sisters and brothers. Betty Lou Morgan (Harold), Ella Williams (Wendy), John Price (Diane), Cindy Lowery (Wayne), all from Port Matilda, PA, Clyde Price (Jane) of Snow Shoe, PA and Rosemary Cessna (Joe) of State College, PA. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sterl "Buck" Price, her great-grandniece, Kirstyn Green and 4 nephews, Charles Price, Roger Price, Sterl Price and Joseph Cessna.

Dolly devoted her life to caring for others. She was sweet and kind and always available to those in need of care. For decades she welcomed homeless children into her home through the Foster Care Program, giving them a safe, loving and fun-filled refuge. Dolly loved caring for all animals, enjoyed family holidays, camping, hosting picnics and tending to her flower gardens. We will miss her gentle ways and smile.

A graveside service will be held at the Lind Memorial Cemetery, Lewistown; date and time will be announced.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting you pay tribute to Dolly with the gift of your time to help someone you know who lives alone and needs a helping hand and a friendly visitor.
