Dean Adair Gusciora, 63, of Shingletown; died Saturday, January 25, 2014 at his home.
He was born April 29, 1950 in Brockton, MA; a son of Margaret Doris Goulart Guscoria who survives and the late Albin Gusciora.
On September 8, 1991, he married the former Brenda Kline who survives at home.
Dean attended CPI where he had an interest in Auto Body work and Culinary Arts. He worked as a chef in various places and served as a substitute teacher of Culinary Arts.
He was a real family man, loved fishing, and was a Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan
Surviving Mr. Gusciora in addition to his loving wife and mother are his children Tim Gusciora, Heather King (Jason), Shawn McNeil, Crystal Gusciora, Chris Easton (Tabatha); three sisters, Robette Caroll, Cheryl Beaton, and Michelle Hinds; two brothers, Terri and John Gusciora; fifteen grandchildren, Tyler, Ryan, Cameron, Angela, Brian, Danielle, Danealle, Cody, Tristan, Carina, Luke, Erica, Angelica, Shawn Jr. and Murphy; and two great grandchildren, Chloe and Evelyn; and his mother-in-law Nancy Kline.
Friends will be received form 6 - 8:30 p. m. Thursday, January 30, 2014 at Mt. Nittany United Methodist Church, 1500 E. Branch Road, State College. A memorial service will follow immediately at 8:30 at the church, with the Reverend Edward Preston and the Reverend Carl Hill officiating. Burialwill be private at the convenience of the family in Centre County Memorial Park 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA.
