Obituary

Deborah Lynn (Dilks) Orner was granted her angel's wings on April 15, 2010 in Centre Hall, PA. Debbie was born in Pennsville, N.J. on March 19, 1958 to the late Lucreda Dilks and Charles Dilks. She went on to marry Lance Vernon Orner on December 6, 1985. They lived in Boothwyn then moved to Keewaydin, PA in August 1989. In addition to Debbie's parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Lance V. Orner, paternal grandparents, Albert and Ella Dilks, her niece and nephew Grace and Antonio Rodriguez and Nevaeh Goodson. Debbie is survived by her two daughters, Vera Brandy Danielle Cruz and her companion, Carlos of Wilmington, Delaware and Sherry Michelle Plaster and her companion, Pamela McCratic of Centre Hall, PA, five siblings and their spouses, Cindy and Joe Ruiz of Wilmington, Delaware, Albert and Debbie Dilks of Conover, North Carolina, Kenneth Dilks of West Virigina, Mary and Juan Rodiguez of Avondale, PA and Christina and Brett Lewis of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She is survived by her maternal grandparents, Lucreda and Alvin Cain. Also, surviving are the following nephews and nieces (and their children), Lucreda Goodson (Caden), A.J. Dilks, Lynn Hanna and Brevin Lewis, Micaela and Halee Rodriguez. Also, she is survived by a long term companion of eight years who she held near to her heart.
Debbie was very headstrong, but had the biggest heart and the widest arms. She enjoyed working long hours on genealogy, scrapbooking for her family and doing crafts. Debbie loved longs walks on the beach collecting shells and watching the sunset. She liked to collect lighthouses, Native American art, baskets and antiques. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family. Debbie will be missed by all her knew her. She has touched many in her memorable life. May you finally rest in peace, Debbie.
The family has chosen to have a private service and donations and cards can be sent to her daughter, Sherry Plaster at 2323 General Potter HWY, Centre Hall, PA 16828.
