Obituary

Delores "Dorie" Ann Struble, 60, of State College, died Tuesday, July 25, 2006, at Mt. Nittany Medical Centre in State College.
She was born May 2, 1946 in Bellefonte, a daughter of the late Richard C. and Helen Martin Jackson.
On December 14, 1963 she married Kenneth L. Struble who survives at home.
Dorie graduated from State College High School. Following graduation, she worked at the Murphy's store in downtown State College, and in the Sears Service Centre in State College. For many years she and her husband did over the road hauling with Bennett Motor Express. She and her husband also owned and operated B-Bar-M Campground in Pennfield, where she loved spending her time.
She was a member of Houserville United Methodist Church and enjoyed knitting and caring for her cats.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister Audrey Shrigley of State College and the following nieces and nephews, Tracey Jackson of Atlanta, GA, Travis Jackson of Wilsonville, OR, Heather Shrigley of Edison, NJ, Adam Shrigley of State College and Roxanne Denton of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and a half brother Bill Eyer of Centre Hall.
In addition to her parents, two brothers, Thomas L. Jackson and Robert C. Jackson Sr, preceded Dorie in death.
Friends will be received from 6 - 8 p. m. Friday, July 28, 2006, and from 1:00 p. m. to 2:00 p. m. Saturday, July 29, 2006 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service P. C. 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. The funeral will follow at the funeral home at 2:00 p. m. with the Reverend Renee Ford officiating. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Houserville United Methodist Church, 1320 Houserville Road, State College, PA 16801
