Diana L. Johnson, 36, of Kissimmee, FL, formerly of Centre Hall, died Sunday, January 18, 2004, near Kissimmee as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
She was born July 3, 1967, in Bellefonte, the daughter of Robert L. and Gloria J. Spayd Johnson who survive in Centre Hall.
On Aug 25, 2001, she married Jaime Juarbes who survives at home in Kissimmee, Florida.
She was a graduate of Penns Valley High School with the class of 1985, where she was active in band, chorus, and as a majorette. She went on to graduate from Empire Beauty School in State College.
She was employed at Hills Plaza in State College, at the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, New Jersey, as a bus greeter, and at the Sunterra Polynesian Isle Resort in Florida as a front desk manager.
Diana was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ in Farmers Mills.
She especially enjoyed music and twirling.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by a daughter Rochelle Gonzalez at home; one brother, Daniel A. Johnson of Centre Hall; her maternal grandparents, Ray and Kathryn Spayd of Centre Hall; her paternal grandmother Jennie M. Johnson of Lemont; and four step children Jaime Jr., Johnathon, Cassandra, and Adrianna Juarbes all of Florida.
Friends will be received from 7 - 9 p.m., on Friday, January 23, 2004, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral Service, 226 S. Pennsylvania Avenue, Centre Hall, PA. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 24, 2004, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Smith officiating.
Burial will be at Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA.
