Dona Joines Danz, 86, of State College, formerly of the Baltimore area, died Mon., Feb. 6, 2006, at Greenhills Village in State College, PA.
She was born Dec. 28, 1919 in Long Bottom, NC, a daughter of the late Hilary and Hallie Johnson Joines.
She was a graduate of Watson Secretarial School in Baltimore, MD, and retired as secretary to the Headmaster at Gilman Private School for Boys in Baltimore.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Henry H. Danz.
She is survived by a daughter Carol R. Danz and her daughter Cathleen A. Danz, a son David H. Danz and his sons Lee C. and Benjamin C. Danz.
A memorial service and reception will be held at 11:00 a. m. Sat. Feb. 25, 2006 at Ascension Lutheran Church, York Road, Towson, MD.
