Obituary

Donald D. Reish Jr. 58, of Potters Mills, died Tuesday, June 12, 2007, at home.
He was born May 28, 1949, in Bellefonte, a son of M. Louise Smith Reish who survives at Potters Mills, and the late Donald D. Reish Sr.
In addition to his mother, Don is survived by a sister, Lisa L. Smeltzer of Pleasant Gap and three brothers, William E. Reish of Castanea, Robert J. Reish of rural Bellefonte, and Jeffrey L. Reish of Frenchville.
Donald was a graduate of Penns Valley High School and worked at Hanover Brands at Centre Hall. He served in the U. S. Army, having served in Viet Nam from February 8, 1969 to March 7, 1970, earning a National Defense Service Medal, a Viet Nam Service Medal and a Viet Nam Campaign Medal with two O/S Stars, and commendations as an M-14 Expert and M-16 Specialist.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars at Potters Mills and earlier in life enjoyed hunting, hiking and observing wildlife.
There will be no public visitation. Burial will be at Sprucetown Cemetery, Upper Georges Valley Road, near Potters Mills, where a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
