Donna Jean Garbrick, 81, of The Oaks at Pleasant Gap, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 31, 2012.
Born December 13, 1930, in Bellefonte, she was one of nine children born to the late Harry and Mildred Hazel.
Donna attended the Bellefonte Area Schools. She attended the State College Assembly of God Church and retired from Penn State University.
She loved reading and tending to her flowers. She especially enjoyed knitting for family, friends, and Project Linus and was a force to be reckoned with on the croquet course.
She is survived by four children, Kathy (Rick), Greg, Fran (Dave) and Jeanie (Dave); five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and three siblings.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by five siblings.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, August 3, 2012 at Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, with the Reverends Buck Fetzer and Harry Brotzman, Jr. officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Donna's name to the donor's choice.
