It is with deep sorrow and love that the family of Donnie Kent Brownlow, Jr., 33, announce his untimely passing near his home in Treasure Island, Florida on September 6, 2020.

Donnie leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughter, Lillian Brownlow; Parents Donnie Sr. and Pauline Brownlow; Sisters, Jennifer (Barry) Gant, Jessica Brownlow, Nicole (Sean) Brownlow-Green; Nieces, Laila Lee, RaiAnna Andrew ; Nephews, Sean Green, Barry Gant III, and Graham Green. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, James and Josephine Beard, and Felix and Bessie Brownlow.

Donnie was born on September 1, 1987 and raised in Akron, Ohio. He attended Central Hower High School, participated in it's elective ROTC Program and was a part of the graduating class of 2005.

His passion for mechanics and car restoration led to his enrollment in the Collision and Auto Body Repair Program at UTI in Orlando, Florida. His creativity, attention to detail and the pride he took in his work provided him with a multitude of job opportunities to showcase his restoration talents.

Being a father to his daughter gave him the utmost joy, their bond is unmatched and is and always will be irreplaceable.

His amazing sense of humor, jokes, contagious laugh and distinctive smile will forever be embedded in our minds. He is deeply loved and will be forever missed.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2020 , at Lakewood Cemetery, 1080 W. Waterloo Rd, Akron, OH 44314 .

A birthday celebration is being planned for September 2021 in Nashville TN.
