Doris R. Lego, 96 of Harrisburg, passed away December 18, 2019 at the Carlisle Church of God Home.

She was born August 20, 1923 in York, PA daughter of the late Samuel H. and Iva (Spangler) Emswiler and sister of the late Hilda Lego.  Doris was the loving wife of Samuel E. Lego, from Harrisburg, married on October 17, 1943 whom he preceded her death on December 14, 1975.  Doris is survived by her children, Carol Putt and husband Michael (Harrisburg), Jay Lego and wife Betty (Camp Hill) and Robin Lego and wife Debbie (Concord, NC).  Doris is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.  Note that her sister Hilda married her husband's brother, Stephen B Lego.  Doris was a principal owner of Sam's Ice Cream of Harrisburg serving with her husband, parents and sister and her husband for 34 years.  Doris was a lifetime member of Pine Street Presbyterian Church in Harrisburg.

An Interment gathering will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Harrisburg on January 25, 2020 at 11am.  Friends and family are invited to attend.
