Dorothy Kathleen Bloom, 90, of Bellefonte, died Saturday, July 1, 2006, at Centre Crest in Bellefonte.
She was born March 17, 1916, in Bellefonte, a daughter of the late Thomas P. and Rhue E. Billett Martin.
Mrs. Bloom worked as a cook at the Nittany Lion Inn for twenty eight years, retiring in 1981.
Mrs. Bloom is survived by a son Fred E. Bloom and his wife Debbie, of Elverson, PA; three granddaughters, Kimberly Hamilton, and Lynn and Jill Bloom and six great grandchildren, and niece Deanna Martin of Milesburg.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Sara Martin.
Friends will be received from noon until 1:00 p. m. Thursday, July 6, 2006, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service, 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA. The funeral will follow at 1:00 p. m. Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, 1032 Benner Pike, State College, PA.
