Dorothy L. London (Kuharski), 93 passed peacefully at home into the light and love of God.  She was the wife of the late Martin R. London.  Dorothy was born in Dubois, PA on June 8, 1924 and was the daughter of Michael and Mary (Isban) Kuharski.  Four brothers and eleven sisters preceded her in death.

Her three children and one sister; Raymond L. London of Bellefonte, PA, Patricia A. London of York, PA, Debra M. London of Bellefonte and Bernadine Sekula of Chicago, Ill survive Dorothy.  She is also survived by her three granddaughters; Kelly R. Horn of Baltimore, MD, Alexandra London-Gross of Alexandria, VA and Melanie K. White of Baltimore, MD.

Dorothy was a member of St. John's The Evangelist Catholic Church in Bellefonte and belonged to the Catholic Daughters.

Dorothy's culinary prowess was legendary.  Holiday meals were extra-special events, prepared by her loving hands.  She was well-known for her date-nut cakes, apple pies and holiday cookies.  Dorothy often helped in St. John's kitchen for various functions.

Dorothy and her late husband, Martin cherished the births and lives of their granddaughters.  They traveled far and wide to watch various sporting events, dance and musical recitals and to view the scholastic awards of Kelly, Alex and Melanie.  They were most proud of "their girls".

A Memorial Celebration of Dorothy and Martin's life together will be held at a later date.  (They are awaiting the birth of their first great granddaughter).   In lieu of flowers and in memory of Dorothy, make someone smile, do a good deed or bake a cake.
