Dustin A. Caprio, 17, of Pleasant Gap, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2005 at the Altoona Trauma Center of the Altoona Regional Medical Center, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Dustin was born October 2, 1987 in Danville, PA, a son of Christina L. Jackson of Pleasant Gap, and Richard A. Caprio of Dallas, TX.
He attended Bellefonte High School participating in the Auto Body program at the Centre County Institute of Science and Technology.
Dustin was employed at the Good Will Store on Westerly Parkway in State College.
He loved his animals, playing football and working on cars.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his sisters Courtney Jackson of Pleasant Gap, Samantha Caprio of Dallas, TX; and a brother Drake Caprio of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Edwina Jackson of Pennsylvania Furnace; his paternal grandparents Carmen Caprio of Farmersville, TX and Connie Caprio of Centre Hall; aunts and uncles, Gary and Tammy Dunmire and Richard and Karen Jackson all of State College, Carmen and Rob Hershell of Aaronsburg, Rodney Caprio of Dallas, TX, and Charles and Julie Jackson of McClure, PA
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p. m. Wednesday, June 29, 2005, at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Service P. C., 1034 Benner Pike, State College, PA(formerly Kyper Funeral Home). Friends will be received immediately following the memorial service. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
